    Don't bother going here if you want a good meal. Ordered roast beef and was served 3 pieces of over cooked dried up meat, no gravy and a side order of chips. When asked if there was any gravy, the lady who delivered the meal and I assume prepared it as well, muttered something about taking more time and offered tomato sauce??!! The meat was so tough it could not be cut with a serrated knife. Chips were nice, just as well as this was all that could be eaten. Salad selection was basic nothing outstanding here. Don't promote yourself as having country meals if you can't deliver the product.

    Loved this hotel. It has LOADS of potential. Lots of work to be done to restore this gem to its former glory. Would recommend but dont expect the Taj Mahal, you will have to wait a while for that. New owners went above and beyond to oblige and make my stay comfortable.
